Originally, Sidney was the leader of the Gateway coven in Australia during it’s colonization in 1788. Sidney was send from Europe to develop a human farming system; the city is named after him. Sidney was dispatched from the IGC to assist Murdoch in running Tower. He assures Murdoch that he will not be running the coven behind his back, but does the exact opposite. The remaining vampires admire him for his leadership. Sid retreats at the beginning of the Dreg/Tower war to Arc Coven taking Kyu with him.
