Kyuketsuki >500 Red Eyes – Blue/white hair – very small build Kyu-Sama is the oldest known vampire in the story. No one is sure where is from (though it is Speculated that he is Japanese) His story is first recorded in France when he meets Myojou, a prince who looks incredibly similar to himself. Originally, Kyu had planned to use Myo as a conduit for a soul transfer, but sadly, his body (in his 30s) was too old. So he turned him into a vampire anyways. When Myo and Demeter ventured to the western world, Kyu remained in France and helped establish the Gateway coven and the International Guild of Covens, now the largest group of elder vampires in the world. Kyu took on a new BloodSlave, Garrett, whom he ‘hires’ to assassinate another French vampire. His penance is that he will become a full vampire, but will not be able to EVER take a BloodSlave. After the task was completed Kyu and Garrett move to Toronto with Myojou and establish Tower. Kyu rules over this coven happily for many years, until Braeden Sr. interferes. Braeden Sr. causes much trouble in 1985 when he accidentally impregnates a human girl. The policy of the Tower vampires is that any human who comes in contact with a vampire must either die or be changed, and since Myojou had no interest in her, they must destroy her and her child. Kyu gave Myo permission to kill the girl and the children, but NOT Braeden Sr. Myojou searched for him for 5 years, and finally found him returning to a park by the lake with his two children. He kills the mother, Sara, and Braeden Sr., and takes the two children. This didn’t bother Kyuketsuki as the paperwork never changed, and his favourite son got a new ‘toy’. The issue never came back to him until Braeden murdered Myojou. Kyu tortured Braeden when he returned and even stabbed him in the chest with a silver blade. Both Braeden and Kerrian escape the Tower building and go about the city. Kyu awaits nightfall and pursues them in his best armor. He quarrels Braeden in a fantastic battle inside a church in the city, but falls to a stab would in the heart by a piece of wood. Murdoch and Virel rush him to the Tower, where he is put in incubation with a spot of Kerrians blood (which barely helps). He awakens several days later with the assistance of Marcus and Garrety, they take a helicopter to Arc Coven in Montreal. Sidney and Kyu leave Toronto heading to France.
